Swami Vivekanand Public School was envisioned by our founder Late Ch. Dharam Singh Ji and subsequently the foundation stone of the school was laid on 12th January 1996. The school is inspired from the works of Swami Vivekananda (Karma Yogi); his thoughts and ideas.

Swami Vivekananda was born on 12th January, 1863 and from that day onwards the world never remained the same. He changed the world for the good by his uniting and gigantic efforts. In similar vision the school was set forth on 12th January, 1996 and from that day onwards the school has brought about a paradigm shift in the field of education in the city of Yamunanagar as well as the entire nation.

Our Founding Father

Late Ch. Dharam Singh Ji, was born on the day of Shivratri in 1931 and his … soul left his mortal body on 18 February 2010. 18 February is also the birth date of Swami Rama Krishna Paramhansa Guru and God like figure for Swami Vivekananda. It is no wonder that pious souls like Ch. Dharam Singh Ji are born on the day of great festivities and choose the day of their departure as the birth date of guru of Swami Vivekananda.
