Anti Corruption Foundation of India Organised Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking Workshop in Swami Vivekanand Public School  on 15 February.All the  officials of the police Departnent and other dignitories were present  The programme began with lighting  of the lamp followed by welcome song by the students of SVPS. SP Sh. Kamaldeep Goyal in his address highlighted the importance of educating people against drugs.He also motivated the team ACFI to carry out more awareness programmes for  people.CMO Mr  Vijay Dahiya also addressed the issue. There were eminent doctors from the town.Dr Bharti,Dr Sunil shared their opinions and gave some important tips .Students of SVPS presented  a play with a deep message to the society.Mr Sanjay kamboj, the director of the school also spoke on this serious issue.The programme concluded with the Giving away of the Momentos to the various guests who graced the occasion.Team ACFI thanked The management,Director, and the principal Mr Taposh Bhatacharya for their immense support in making the programme a success.

RUDRA PRATAP SINGH a student of class VII Genius has made the school proud by winning the BRAVERY AWARD at the state level on REPUBLIC DAY CELEBRATION.

An historic record set by our school at All India Level as maximum number of skaters selected from one school in entire India. Our 26 skaters won gold medal and champion trophy, 3 skaters won silver medal in 57 National Roller Skating Championship at Visakhapatnam (A.P.)

Excellent performance by our chess players in 18TH  PUNJAB KESARI CHESS CHAMPIONSHIP held in Ambala on 2nd Feb. 2020. Ishi Singla of class 2nd secured 1st position in under -7 yrs category and        Poushalee Mehta of class 9th secured 3rd position  in under 15 yrs category. More than 300 players from different schools and districts like Ambala, Yamaunanagar, Panipat, Panchkula, Karnal, Kaithal, Panipat and Kurukshetra participated in the championship.

Our school launched Awareness Drive to sensitise people to global issue of our environment on 14-10-2018 in the premises of Saraswati Sugar Mill Colony, Yamunanagar. About 40 students zealously particpated in the following activities: Nukkad Natak: Stop using plastic bags Cycling Ride: To keep environment pollution free Skating Rally: To keep our surrounding neat & clean It was possible because of commendable efforts of our faculty members - Mr. Vishal Bakshi, Mrs. Shalini Bakshi, Mrs. Renu, Ms. Parul Sharma, Ms. Kusum and Mr. Vishal Kumar. Kudos also goes to the parents and residents of sugarmill colony for their support and co-operation which made us organize this drive with fervour. In nut-shell these activities provide creative learning environment to nurture sense of responsiblity and confidence in our students.

Students from Swami Vivekanand Public School participated in the event held in Chandigarh on 18-02-2019 organized by The Art of Living for Drug Free India. H H Sri Sri Ravi Shankar and other celebrities including Kapil Sharma, Sanjay Dutt, Badshah, Gurdas Maan pledged against the drug abuse and encouraged youngsters to abstain from the use of drug to make way for a drug free India.

Our 11 students clinched galaxy of medals in 26 National Children Science Congress Competition The theme of this year is ‘Science Technology and Innovation for clean, green and healthy nation’. Six students VIZ Devank (X), Chintan (X), Aman (X), Keashav(X), Chakshu (VI) and Tarini (VI) got gold medals and have been selected for State Level Competition going to be held at Sonipat. Riya (X), Nupur (X), Winkle(X), Ojasvi (X) bagged silver medals and Ojas Goel (IX) got consolation prize. Our sixteen students presented their papers and six students presented models in this competition.
